Urban Reinvention Ideas

If you do a search on Google for “Urban Reinvention”, the first thing that comes up is “Revolution Detroit: Strategies for Urban Reinvention”, a book written by John Gallagher. I’ve never seen Detroit as a populous city, like Chicago or New York, but I believe in Detroit  and the creative ideas people are bringing to the city. From my perspective, believing in Detroit means believing in Pontiac. There are so many individuals with talents and resources in this town that it can work. We just have to reinvent it.

So how do we reinvent Pontiac?

My take? We look at the hottest cities and places around the world and take inspiration from them. We take in consideration the trends that are popping up in fashion, dining, etc. But most important of all: we have to think outside of the box.

1) Eye-catching Street Art

2) Unique Businesses / Pop - Ups / Attractions

There's a lot of this in Pontiac already, but we want even more!

...just to name a couple!

3) People with passion

We need people who want to see the town improve. We need people who want to make a change.

Are you that person?
